One day, the professional golfer's wife in 5 years marriage
found a small box in the wardrobe of her husband, while she was
arranging it.
There were 5 golf balls and 600 dollars in that box.

Wife asked husband why these were in a box, when husband came
back home from hard competition.
Pro-golfer confessed the truth in confusion,
"Sorry, sweetheart. I had relations with other women some times
after competition, and I put a ball in that box, whenever I had.
Please forgive me!!"

Wife was very upset, but eventually decided forgiving him, as
she thought 5 times love affairs were not so serious.
So she said, "I'll forgive this time, but no any more.", and
asked "By the way, what is these 600 dollars?"

Husband replied proudly,
"Oh, that money? I sold such balls, 10 dollars per dozen!!"

정리하다, 조그만 상자 하나를 발견했다.
상자 속에는 골프공 5個와 600달러의 현금이 들어 있었다.

남편이 대회에서 돌아오자, 아내는 상자 속의 공에 대해 캐물었다.
남편은 당황해 하며, 아내에게 진실을 털어놓았다.
"당신한테는 미안한 얘기지만 실은 골프대회에 나갔다가,
바람피운 적이 있거든. 한번 바람을 피울 때마다 공을 하나씩
갖다 놓았어. 여보, 제발 용서해 주구려."

아내는 남편이 바람을 피웠다는 말에 분개했으나, 용서해 주기로
마음먹었다. 괘씸하기는 했지만 5年 동안 다섯번 뿐이었다니,
그럴 수 있다고 생각했다.
"그런데 600달러는 뭐예요?"

남편은 별것 아니라는 투로 얘기했다.
"응, 그 돈은 상자에 모인 골프 공을 내다팔고 받은 돈이야.
한 다스에 10달러씩…."
